Vicki Adams served both as counselor and administrator during our years working together. She has since moved away to another district and serves as a superintendent. She can attest to my creativity and passion for student learning. She has served as my evaluator during summer school sessions and spent many hours with my students in attempts to include them before inclusion is was what it has become today.
Greg Bower served as my high school principal for several years as I taught multilevel grades with the hearing impaired students. He can attest to my ability to multitask in both preparation and delivery of several graded and numerous subjects all simultaneously within the same academic year. Although we no longer work in the same district, I still value his opinions and professionalism.
It is of utmost importance to me, I be as positive and encouraging an influence to all my students as humanly possible. The desire to question and be curious for the purpose of knowledge and growth is a quality I hope to pass on to any student whom I have contact. It is with great personal pride which I strive for each and everyday to consciously find opportunities to build a student's self confidence. No doubt there have been times I have failed and it is for this reason I make reflections so as to keep this desire ever present during my instructional day. When receiving and reading these letters I am proud to "see" how others view me professionally. I love what I do and it is important to me to always strive to give my best. It pleases me to know my passion for student learning is "visible" to outsiders looking inward.
